Lloyd & Whyte Ltd was formed in 1998 to focus on the Professional Affinity market that had been initiated and developed by our then parent company Lloyd & Whyte (Insurance Brokers) Ltd.

Our experience and expertise stems from over 50 years as one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the South West of England, and it is upon this foundation that our success has been derived.

In 1996 we gained our first appointment, to the British Dental Association (BDA), and it was here that we developed a good appreciation of the fundamental elements required for a successful Professional Affinity Scheme.

Since 1996 we have been appointed by a number of other groups including, The British Veterinary Association (BVA), The British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and The National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA).

During this time we have demonstrated significant success within each of our relationships, and have achieved considerable yet controlled growth.

In addition to our UK operation we also have an established brokerage in Portugal to cater for the needs of the large expatriate community. This includes independent insurance advice for UK residents with property in the region.
