Mervyn Pyke starts working at Lloyd & Whyte, and by the 1980s it has grown into one of the largest independent insurance brokers in the South West.
Healthcare Partnership
Lloyd & Whyte becomes insurance partner to the British Dental Association, paving the way for partnerships with other healthcare associations.
Veterinary Partnership
Lloyd & Whyte starts a professional partnership with the British Veterinary Association, providing their members with commercial and personal insurance.
Expanding Healthcare Partnerships
Lloyd & Whyte starts providing insurance for members of the British Medical Association and the Association of Optometrists.

With Lloyd & Whyte's ethics and values aligning to those of the Benefact Group, it starts a journey of giving back all available profits to charities and good causes.
National Presence
By 2020, Lloyd & Whyte has established offices across Taunton, Bromsgrove, Billericay, Eastleigh, and Stevenage, ensuring that client service is at the forefront of its offering.
Community Broking Launch
Lloyd & Whyte launches Lloyd & Whyte Community Broking (South West and South Wales), which includes Naturesave Insurance, one of the UK's leading ethical insurance broker.
